Google Maps Scraper Pricing Compared: Every Major Tool
Updated September 26, 20268 min read
Every "Google Maps scraper pricing" search turns up a different number, because these tools aren't all selling the same thing -- some hand you a finished, ready-to-use CSV, others hand you a JSON response you still have to build something with. Here's every major option, what it actually costs, and what that price does and doesn't include.
| Tool | Price (approx, per 1,000) | Email enrichment | Interface |
|---|---|---|---|
| Maplist | $0.47 | Optional add-on | Visual map, no code |
| Outscraper | ~$3 base, $9-11 with emails | Paid add-on | Web UI + API |
| Apify (Compass actor) | $2.10-$5.00 | Paid add-on | Developer console |
| PhantomBuster | Subscription, not per-record ($69-439/mo) | Separate credit pool | Automation dashboard |
| Octoparse | Subscription, not per-record ($89-299/mo) | No | Visual workflow builder |
| ScrapeHero | Unclear ($300 one-time to $10k/mo) | Varies | Web UI or custom build |
| Bright Data (dataset) | ~$2.50 (pre-collected only) | No | Dataset download |
| Bright Data (Scraper API) | $0.75-$1.50 (needs $499/mo plan for best rate) | No | Raw API |
| Scrapingdog | ~$0.33 at volume | No | Raw API |

Reading this table correctly
The raw per-request APIs (Scrapingdog, Bright Data's Scraper API) look cheapest, and per record they are -- but that price buys you a JSON response, not a lead list. Turning that into something you can actually email requires writing code for pagination, deduplication and email finding, none of which is included. Once you count that engineering time, "cheapest per request" often isn't cheapest per usable lead.
The subscription tools (PhantomBuster, Octoparse) don't have a clean per-record price at all -- you're paying for a monthly capacity (execution hours, workflow nodes) regardless of how much or little you scrape that month, which only pencils out well if you're using the rest of that subscription for other things too.
FAQ
Which Google Maps scraper is cheapest?
It depends what you're comparing. On raw per-request cost, developer-facing APIs like Scrapingdog and Bright Data's Scraper API are cheapest, but that price doesn't include deduplication or a usable export -- you build those yourself. Among tools that hand you a finished, ready-to-use lead list, Maplist's $0.47 per 1,000 leads is the lowest we found as of this writing.
Why is there such a big price range between these tools?
They're not all selling the same thing. Some are finished, no-code lead-list tools (Maplist, Outscraper). Some are developer platforms and raw APIs (Apify, Scrapingdog, Bright Data's API). Some are pre-collected datasets (Bright Data's dataset product). Some are general-purpose scrapers that happen to be able to do Google Maps (Octoparse). Comparing sticker price alone without accounting for what work is included is how this list gets confusing.
